The Callisto Protocol gets PC system requirements ahead of next week’s launch

The Callisto Protocol is shaping up to be one of the biggest horror games of the year. With the game just one week away from release, Striking Distance Studios has revealed the game's PC system requirements.

Striking Distance Studios is spearheaded by Glen Schofield, a name you should recognise, as Schofield also led development on Dead Space back in the day, helping to create one of the best survival horror IP in the industry. Schofield is looking to do that all over again with The Callisto Protocol, a narrative-driven, third-person survival horror game set 300 years in the future on Jupiter's moon, Callisto.

The PC system requirements aren't prohibitively high and anyone that built a gaming PC in the last five years should be able to run the game.

Minimum requirements:

  • Processor: Intel® Core™ i5-8400 or AMD Ryzen™ 5 2600
  • Memory: 8 GB RAM
  • Graphics: NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 1060 or AMD Radeon™ RX 580
  • DirectX: Version 11
  • Storage: 75 GB available space

Recommended requirements:

  • Processor: Intel® Core™ i7-8700 or AMD Ryzen™ 5 3600
  • Memory: 16 GB RAM
  • Graphics: NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 1070 or AMD Radeon™ RX 5700
  • DirectX: Version 12
  • Storage: 75 GB available space

The Callisto Protocol is releasing on the 2nd of December.
