The Witcher 3 is getting a new game+ mode

The Witcher: Wild Hunt is a massive game, but if you have managed to beat it already and feel the time is right to jump back in to it, then CD Projekt Red has some news for you as the team is currently working on bringing a new game plus mode to the hit RPG.

New Game+ will be the final DLC in CD Projekt's series of 16 free bits of downloadable content. While New Game+ was announced today, it won't actually be out this week as the team needs to work on it a bit more but come next week, those who have already beat the main story should be able to jump back in.

Unfortunately, aside from the fact that the new mode is coming, we don't know how it will affect the game or what will carry over in to the new playthrough, though we should hear more soon. This marks the end of The Witcher's run of free DLC, the next thing to release for the game (aside from patches) will be the first paid expansion known as Heart of Stone, which may bring the return of Shani from the first game.

KitGuru Says: I'm still making my way through The Witcher's main story, though I am glad to see that there will be a New Game+ mode for added replay value. Have any of you beat The Witcher already? Would you want to jump in for another playthrough?
