Dead By Daylight is crossing over with Attack on Titan

Crossovers are all the rage at the moment. It seems as though any and all live service games are champing at the bit to align themselves with equally or more popular franchises through the use of crossovers. One game which typically uses crossovers well is Dead By Daylight. Their latest collab, however, makes little sense.

Dead By Daylight recently hosted a 6th anniversary stream celebrating the game’s continued success. One of the ways in which the asymmetrical multiplayer title has managed to maintain a player base is through its consistent content updates including but not limited to crossing over with other horror franchises.

Coming later this year is an Attack on Titan collection. Though very few details have been shared, some of the characters included in the collection were shown off – though only as concept art.

One of the characters shown is a Titan, and while we do not know the extent of this crossover, it was confirmed that the Titan will be based on the pre-existing ‘Oni’ character.

It will be interesting to see how such a large character canonically is adapted for Dead by Daylight. Then again Call of Duty successfully shoehorned a Titan into their latest game – even if it did look quite weird.
