Deathloop DLC or sequel seemingly in development

Deathloop is the latest game to come from the much-loved French studio Arkane Lyon. Originally released in 2021 as a PS5 console exclusive, Deathloop has since been brought over to Xbox. In the wake of this, it seems as though more Deathloop is on its way – as accidentally shared by the game’s voice actors.

As discovered by ‘Prequel_Memer_66’ on Reddit, in an interview conducted by Streamily, Jason Kelley and Ozioma Akagha (the VAs for Colt and Julianna in Deathloop) were discussing the audition process for the game, with Kelley then claiming that the pair are still being hired by the studio under Deathloop's codename.

Based on the reaction of both he and Akagha, it is safe to assume that this knowledge was not intended to be public just yet, and lends credence towards the idea that either DLC or an entire sequel to Deathloop could be in the works.

The game was received well upon its initial release, and with the title now available on Xbox and Game Pass, Deathloop is likely more popular than ever. It will be interesting to see whether this does indeed turn out to be a sequel, or if a Dishonored-styled DLC is in the works.
