Angry Birds launching on Facebook on Valentines Day

The Facebook version of Angry Birds is due for release on Facebook this Valentines Day, February 14th.

In the past you may have taken your better half to the movies or to the theater, but now a romantic pairing of Angry Birds on Facebook is the way to celebrate your love.

Rovio released a trailer which we have attached to this page. They are hinting that the game won’t be exactly the same as the mobile versions. Rovio CEO Mikael Hed has said that the game will have new elements and a more ‘collaborative’ feeling. It will also focus a little more on the pigs, whatever that means.

This physics based game has generated a huge amount of cash for Rovio, with a version available on almost every mobile device available today. Rovio CMO Peter Vesterbacka has said that the company is now worth $1.2 billion. The Facebook release is sure to target an even wider audience of gamers.

Kitguru says: Is this something you will be playing on Facebook, or are you finally sick of Angry Birds?
