Wozniak speaks on Apple vs Samsung lawsuit: “I hate it”

While many of associate Steve Wozniak as the co-founder and programming and technical genius behind the early days of Apple, he is also an avid technology fan. In a recent interview he was asked about the ongoing patent battles between ex-employee Apple and Samsung and doesn’t appear to like what Cupertino is up to.

“I hate it,” Wozniak said when asked about the patent fights between Apple and Samsung. “I don’t think the decision of California will hold. And I don’t agree with it — very small things I don’t really call that innovative.

“I wish everybody would just agree to exchange all the patents and everybody can build the best forms they want to use everybody’s technologies.”

While Wozniak is current holding his opinion on the iPhone 5 quiet until he gets some lengthy hands-on treatment with the device, he does seem to be against the patents wars which have become a relatively large part of the mobile market of late.

KitGuru says: We have to agree to Steve completely, some of the patents being upheld in court are rather ridiculous.
