Fresh image leaks show Samsung’s Galaxy S8 and S8+ in full, confirms headphone jack

Update: Just yesterday we got our first proper look at the Samsung Galaxy S8+ thanks to some fresh image leaks showing off the smartphone in full view. However, one thing many were curious on was how the standard Galaxy S8 looks compared to a larger Galaxy S8+. Fortunately, we now have images for that too, with the Galaxy S8 sitting side by side with its larger counterpart. These images also squash earlier rumours surrounding the Galaxy S8's headphone jack.

Once again, these images are straight from Slash Leaks, showing that the new Galaxy S8 will use USB Type-C and will not ditch the headphone jack as previously rumoured. There also doesn't appear to be a massive size difference between the two.

Original Story: Samsung isn't set to announce the Galaxy S8 until the end of this month but that hasn't stopped the new flagship from leaking more or less in its entirety over the last couple of months. Aside from specifications and shipping dates, we now have a good set of real-world image leaks to go alongside the press render we saw last week.

This time around it is Slash Leaks bringing the images our way, showing a working Galaxy S8 in a clear case. The front looks exactly the same as in last week's image leak but interestingly enough, we also get a good look at the back of the device, giving us a view of the camera and fingerprint scanner.

Here we can see that Samsung has apparently chosen to place its fingerprint reader right next to the camera on the Galaxy S8, which seems pretty awkward for regular use. However, with the bezels on this phone being so thin, it might be easier to reach than expected.

Rather than the standard Galaxy S8, this is said to be the larger Galaxy S8+, which will feature similar specifications under the hood but will likely have an improved camera alongside its larger screen.

KitGuru Says: Samsung isn't too far off of announcing the Galaxy S8 but it seems that we already know all we need to know about it. Are any of you planning on picking up a Galaxy S8 this year?
