Chrome OS Netbooks about to launch – codenames revealed?

The first Chrome OS netbooks are due to launch in a few weeks time and it seems from what we have heard that these will be Google branded models, built by a third party manufacturer. Some information about them may be available inside the Chromium issue tracker.

Google has been testing Chrome OS on a variety of netbooks, including Dell and Asus machines. TechCrunch spotted that internal testing under ‘dogfood' names highlights two reoccuring names “Mario” and “Andretti”.
