Walking Dead Season 2 launching tomorrow

If like me, you consider the first Walking Dead game from Telltale an emotional rollercoaster of a title, then you'll no doubt be as excited as I am for the second Season. Fortunately the wait isn't long at all, as Telltale has now teased a big reveal for the 29th October. That's tomorrow.

Set to land at 3PM Eastern (8PM GMT), it's not clear what the unveil will be, but presumably we're looking at a first episode launch, or at the very least an announcement for the upcoming release schedule. Admittedly the latter of the two there would be quite a drop off from the first, but considering Telltale has previously slated the sequel series for a Q4 2013 release, even it it is an announcement for another announcement, it won't be long before the full game lands.

Anyone familiar with the first season will recognise that cap as Clementine's, suggesting she'll be making a return – though the blood smatter might be cause for concern.

This was announced on the Telltale Twitter, along with the reminder of some great advice Clem received in the first season: “keep that hair short.”

KitGuru Says: What did you guys think of the first season of the Walking Dead? It was perhaps my favourite game of the year – even if I did play a lot of Mount and Blade Warband in 2012. [Thanks VG247]

KitGuru Games: Predicting the Next Half a Decade of Call of Duty Releases

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. Sure enough, the US founding father has yet to be proven wrong, with Activision and a dozen studios having ensured that come the tail-end of any given year, there will be a new COD ready to release. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
