Sony announces 40-minute State of Play stream to showcase upcoming PS5 games

It looks like Sony is looking to make some new headlines after a weekend of PSN outages. Swiftly following the outage, Sony has now announced its next State of Play stream.

The next PlayStation State of Play stream will be taking place tomorrow at 10PM GMT. The stream will be over 40 minutes long, which means we will be getting quite a few substantial announcements for upcoming PS5 titles.

PC gamers will also want to pay attention to the news coming out of State of Play, as Sony has been releasing more and more games on PC. In some cases, like with Helldivers 2, Sony is allowing games to come to PS5 and PC on day-one, but this approach is limited to multiplayer titles.

We don't have much on the calendar for first-party games for PS5 this year, but that should change after the State of Play stream.

KitGuru Games: Predicting the Next Half a Decade of Call of Duty Releases

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. Sure enough, the US founding father has yet to be proven wrong, with Activision and a dozen studios having ensured that come the tail-end of any given year, there will be a new COD ready to release. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
