Microsoft riding on Surface, literally

With just over a week before the next generation of Windows is officially launched the marketing campaign is starting to get under way. No one can doubt the importance of the next few months for Microsoft with launches of Windows 8, RT and Phone 8 in place, so I guess you could say they have a lot riding on these new product launches.

However, riding could also be taken as a literal term. Steven Sinofsky, head of Windows group, was seen riding a Surface RT tablet. This was undoubtedly a little stunt to prove the toughness of the 10.6 inch tablet's magenisum-alloy body and Gorilla Glass 2 display. Now it's only a matter of time before an entrepreneur launches the skateboard for Surface case.

KitGuru says: No Microsoft Surface tablets were harmed in the production of this article.
