Apple ad campaign continues with ‘Hollywood’ iPad Oscar debut

We reported last week that Apple have adopted a new style of advertisement and their listed titled ‘Hollywood' was seen at the Oscars on Sunday.

Just as ‘Alive' and ‘Together' before, the latest advert focused on three keywords which highlight some of the 300,000 applications made especially for iPad users. Apple used ‘Lights' ‘Camera' and ‘Action' as the basis for the content.

They showcased Instant: The Polaroid Instant Photos, Pinterest, iMovie, Apple Maps and Action Movie FX, alongside clips from well known movies. [yframe url='http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H8pj3WQyOzY']

The new direction from Apple seems to be focusing on the software side of the platform, rather than the hardware inside the iPad and other devices.

Kitguru says: Is the focus on available software a move in the right direction for Apple?
