Insomniac’s Spider-Man comes to Marvel Rivals later this month

Following its explosive launch, Marvel Rivals has been keeping things fresh with the recent release of Season 1 alongside the promise of rapid and consistent support. It seems the first surprise is already upon us as the Advanced Suit from Insomniac Games’ Spider-Man has now been revealed – arriving later this month.

Making the surprise announcement on Twitter, the official PlayStation account shared the following: “‘Don't mess with the Amazing Spider-Man!’ The Advanced Suit 2.0 from Marvel's Spider-Man 2 comes to Marvel Rivals. Unlock this costume in-store on January 30, the same day Marvel's Spider-Man 2 comes to PC.”

Based on the wording, it seems as though the skin won’t be free. It could possibly be made obtainable through a challenge or event of some sorts, but the more likely outcome is that you’ll have to splash some cash to get the Advanced Suit.

At the very least (and in alignment with the fact that Spider-Man 2 is coming to PC), the skin will be available to obtain no matter your platform of choice. Hopefully we hear more concrete details on the suit as we get closer to the game's PC launch.

KitGuru Games: Predicting the Next Half a Decade of Call of Duty Releases

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. Sure enough, the US founding father has yet to be proven wrong, with Activision and a dozen studios having ensured that come the tail-end of any given year, there will be a new COD ready to release. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
