You can sign up to play Elden Ring Nightreign early

At The Game Awards in December, From Software surprised us all with a new Elden Ring game. The new spin-off, titled “Elden Ring: Nightreign” is set in the Limgrave region of the map, inviting squads of up to three players to band together to take down massive monsters.

As Elden Ring: Nightreign is a multiplayer focused game, network tests will be taking place ahead of launch to ensure that the servers and backend systems are all working correctly. Sign-ups for the first network test are open and the test itself will take place from February 14th to February 17th.

Unfortunately, the network test is not taking place for the PC version of the game. This first test is limited to PS5 and Xbox Series X/S consoles, so if you want to try the game early, you'll need to sign up and have one of the consoles.

It is unclear if From Software will hold an additional network test for PC gamers, or if there will be more network tests at all after this one. As the game does not currently have a final release date, it seems likely that another beta will take place closer to launch.

KitGuru Games: Predicting the Next Half a Decade of Call of Duty Releases

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. Sure enough, the US founding father has yet to be proven wrong, with Activision and a dozen studios having ensured that come the tail-end of any given year, there will be a new COD ready to release. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
