InWin combines simplicity and performance with new D5 E-ATX PC case

InWin has recently unveiled its latest product, the D5 E-ATX mid-tower PC chassis. This case is designed for PC builders seeking good airflow, a practical layout, and flexible component installation. With its quick-release panels and rotatable PCI-E mounting bracket, the D5 provides a user-friendly PC-building experience that combines simplicity and performance.

The D5 features full mesh front and top panels for maximum cooling and a retractable cable shield on the motherboard tray that reduces cable clutter while channelling airflow towards the primary components. The chassis has mounting points for up to seven fans, making it an excellent choice for air-cooled systems. It also supports liquid cooling with compatibility for 280/360mm radiators on the front and top panels. Despite being a mid-tower, the D5 supports premium E-ATX motherboards, as well as ATX PSUs up to 180mm long, GPUs up to 365mm long, and air-cooling heatsinks up to 165mm tall. The motherboard tray supports the Asus BTF and MSI Project Zero motherboards with backside connectors.

Accessing the PC is easy with InWin's tool-less fast-release side panels, which snap out to provide access for upgrades or maintenance. The modular, rotating PCI-E mounting bracket enables you to build dual-GPU systems and create multi-PCI-E card combinations. A magnetic GPU holder is included to support heavy graphics cards. In addition, the D5 also features a disguised headphone hook to keep your workstation clean and organised.

To match the all-black chassis style, InWin includes a Neptune ARGB fan. The Neptune fan has a nominal noise level of under 20.5 dBA and airflow rates up to 60 CFM. The front I/O is on top for easy access and unobstructed front ventilation and features a USB 3.2 Gen 2×2 Type-C interface, two USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports, and a 3.5mm HD audio combo jack.

KitGuru says: With compatibility for ‘zero cable' motherboards, we expect to see some very clean systems built with this case in the months ahead.
