Fallout 76: Nuka-World on Tour update available now

Though it launched in a somewhat laughable state, Fallout 76 has continually been updated since its release back in 2018 – bringing the live service title much closer to what fans would expect from a modern Bethesda Fallout title. Season 11 of Fallout 76 is now live, including the game’s ‘Nuka-World on Tour’ update.

Making the announcement on their blog, the Fallout 76 team said “Our latest update for Fallout 76 launches today, and it’s bringing Nuka-World to Appalachia with our Nuka-World on Tour update! It also includes Fallout 76 Season 11, new rewards, gameplay improvements, and more.”

The full list of changes is extensive and includes a whole host of bug fixes – including some amusing one such as “Toy cars no longer explode inside Vault 76” – but for our purposes the biggest changes and additions arriving with this update is as follows:

  • New Public Events
    • Spin the Wheel
    • Most Wanted
    • Tunnel of Love
  • Win Prizes at the Nuka-Cade with games including:
    • Bandit Roundup
    • Nuka Zapper Race
    • Whack-A-Commie
    • Battle Blaster
  • New Region Boss: The Ultracite Titan
  • Tour around Nuka-World, visiting locations such as Dry Rock Gulch, Safari Adventure, and more
  • Free Cam when building

While perhaps not quite as exciting of a redemption story as No Man’s Sky, it is encouraging to see Fallout 76 receiving rather substantive content updates more than 4 years after the game’s less-than-stellar launch. Hopefully Fallout 76 continues to be updated for years to come.
