PowerWash Simulator gets free ‘Ice Rink’ DLC map

PowerWash Simulator has been going strong for quite a few years now, with the team at FuturLab releasing both paid and free DLC at a pretty regular cadence. In celebration of the Holiday season, PowerWash Simulator has gotten a free Winter themed ‘Ice Rink’ map.

Making the announcement on BlueSky, the team at FuturLab officially unveiled the next free map for PowerWash Simulator, saying “The weather outside may be frightful, but our Winter Seasonal is delightful Welcome to our festive Ice Rink, available to visit right now for free on PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series S|X, PlayStation 4|5 and Nintendo Switch.”

It is worth noting that Switch owners in the EU specifically will have to wait a bit longer for the map to drop – with it said to be arriving sometime “later into December.”

This marks the 13th DLC released for PowerWash Simulator – 8 of which have been free. Given the fact that the game had received holiday maps in prior years, this announcement did not come as too much of a surprise.

That said, it is nice to see the team at FuturLab continuing to add new free maps to the game – reserving the paid DLC for licensed crossover content.

KitGuru Games: Predicting the Next Half a Decade of Call of Duty Releases

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. Sure enough, the US founding father has yet to be proven wrong, with Activision and a dozen studios having ensured that come the tail-end of any given year, there will be a new COD ready to release. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
