China start shutting unauthorised Apple Stores

Chinese authorities have closed two stores in Kunming that were using the Apple logo without authorisation. Kitguru has reported in the last couple of weeks on the exposure of unofficial Apple stores which are selling genuine goods.

Apple haven't been forced to intervene as two stores were ordered to close because they were operating without licenses. A report was filed on the Kunming city government's website. The report says that over 300 vendors were inspected in the city.

The report adds that the two stores in the city were using Apple's logo without authorisation and the government has not received any correspondence from Apple directly.

Kitguru says: We wonder are there any more unofficial Apple stores in other parts of the world?
