‘My First Gran Turismo’ free trial has been rated

Back in September, Sony began sharing its plans for the PlayStation console’s 30th anniversary; unveiling new products, accessories, and free multiplayer weekends. One of the most interesting announcements was the promise of a free trial for Gran Turismo 7 – which is set to go live soon.

As reported by Gematsu, the Taiwanese Games Rating Board have officially published a listing for ‘My First Gran Turismo’: the label given to the aforementioned free trial.

While it was previously announced to be arriving some time “this holiday”, the rating seems to suggest that the trial is ready to go live at any point – likely some time next week during PlayStation’s actual 30th anniversary on the 3rd of December.

While we don’t yet have full details on everything that will be included, the previous announcement for My First GT stated that the trial would include “some of the favorite cars, tracks, and race events that evoke the nostalgia and excitement of the very first GT experience”. Hopefully we get more official details soon.

KitGuru Games: Predicting the Next Half a Decade of Call of Duty Releases

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. Sure enough, the US founding father has yet to be proven wrong, with Activision and a dozen studios having ensured that come the tail-end of any given year, there will be a new COD ready to release. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
