Opera 11 released, and its brilliant

Opera is a browser that really doesn't get the credit it deserves, however with over 150 million users, it appears that a growing user base are finding something they like.

Three weeks later, after a beta and three release candidates the latest version is now ready for public download.

This release is very tasty indeed and has a raft of new features, one of which deserves special mention – tab-stacking. With this feature, you can group together tabs to save physical space. Visual previews also help to make life easier by increasing the intuitiveness of the user interface.

Visual mouse gestures are also worth mentioning as this enhances the gesture based navigation the browser has always promoted. This new graphical interface is going to help new users get familar with the concept.

I have been using Opera 11 now for a while and it keeps getting better and better, it is extremely fast and the web stacking idea is one I particularly like. Sure, its maybe not enough to get die hard Firefox users moving in their droves, but it really is worth some time today, or over the weekend.
