Tomb Raider Legend Trilogy Collection seemingly leaks via Amazon

2024 is a big year for the Tomb Raider series, with the franchise recently celebrating its 28th anniversary. Alongside the release of many of Lara Croft’s older adventures and an anime series, it seems as though Croft’s lesser-appreciated ‘Legend’ Trilogy is set to get a re-release – as leaked by Amazon.

Though the listing has since been removed, for a time Amazon had ‘incorrectly’ labelled the physical version of the Lara Croft Collection (which features a couple spin-off titles) as including Lara Croft: Tomb Raider Legend, Anniversary and Underworld.

For the uninitiated, these three titles are known as the Legend Trilogy and serve as their own pseudo-reboot of the Tomb Raider story set in a different timeline.

Released between 2006-2008, this trilogy is well regarded by fans of the series, despite being somewhat overlooked due to the success of its predecessors and the most recent franchise reboot.

While the Tomb Raider Legend Trilogy did get a remaster back in 2011 for the PS3, a second more-definitive version of this trilogy would be appreciated by fans.

Even if this most recent listing proves to be a simple error on the part of Amazon, hopefully the Legend trilogy does return in one form or another at some point in the not-too-distant future.

KitGuru Games: Predicting the Next Half a Decade of Call of Duty Releases

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. Sure enough, the US founding father has yet to be proven wrong, with Activision and a dozen studios having ensured that come the tail-end of any given year, there will be a new COD ready to release. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
