Corsair introduces K70 Pro TKL with magnetic switches

Corsair has introduced the new K70 Pro TKL keyboard featuring MGX magnetic switches. Tailored for the esports sector, this tenkeyless keyboard comes packed with features like FlashTap and Rapid Trigger, designed to give gamers a significant edge.

Corsair's new K70 Pro TKL features the Corsair MGX Hyperdrive magnetic switches (pre-lubricated), which use Hall-effect sensors to ensure fast activation. These switches are designed for a quiet environment, while the double-rail construction guarantees consistent and wobble-free keystrokes. Dual layers of premium sound-dampening foam minimise noise and further elevate the silent experience.

With the addition of Rapid Trigger technology, the keyboard registers key presses almost instantly, enhancing performance far beyond traditional mechanical switches. Furthermore, the K70 Pro TKL accommodates various playstyles with its customisable actuation distance, ranging from 0.1 mm to 4.0 mm.

Another notable feature, FlashTap, introduces SOCD technology to change how you move your character in-game by prioritising the first or last key activated. Paired with Rapid Trigger, it allows for faster strafing and move-mirroring in games easier than on traditional keyboards. Additionally, the Game Mode offers a seamless transition from casual play to competitive gaming by pushing a single button, optimising settings, preventing mispresses, enforcing static RGB, and enabling Rapid Trigger.

This keyboard also features Corsair's Axon hyper-processing technology, which ensures that the K70 Pro TKL maintains a fast response time and eliminates input lag. With an 8,000 Hz hyper-polling rate, this wired-only keyboard registers key presses in one-eighth of a millisecond.

The Corsair K70 Pro TKL is now available in black and white (PBT keycaps only) starting at £169.99/$179.99/€179.99 with ABS double-shot or painted keycaps (extra £/$/€10 for double-shot PBT keycaps).
