Leaker claims Elden Ring is coming to the Switch 2

Elden Ring is easily one of the biggest games of the past few years, with the FromSoftware developed title selling over 25 million copies since 2022. With Nintendo finally set to unveil their Switch successor some time next year, it seems as though FromSoftware are preparing to bring their magnum opus to Nintendo’s platform.

In a translated report by Spanish insider Nash Weedle via Twitter, “A port of ELDEN RING is in development for SWITCH 2, which will receive the game in a ‘Definitive Edition’. It seems that Virtuos could be responsible for said port and that it would arrive by the end of 2025.”

Known insider Necro Felipe seemed to add further credence to the rumour, saying “I heard the same back in March, but I cannot confirm the release schedule for this.”

It is worth noting that Nash Weedle’s track record is somewhat inconsistent and so should be taken with a pinch of salt.

That said, bringing Elden Ring to the Switch 2 only makes sense and is something which was undoubtedly inevitable.

KitGuru says: What do you think of the rumour? Would you replay Elden Ring on Switch 2? Do you think it’ll manage a stable 60fps? Let us know down below.

KitGuru Games: Predicting the Next Half a Decade of Call of Duty Releases

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. Sure enough, the US founding father has yet to be proven wrong, with Activision and a dozen studios having ensured that come the tail-end of any given year, there will be a new COD ready to release. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
