Blizzard Warcraft 30th anniversary stream set for November 13th

The Warcraft universe is turning 30, and to celebrate, Blizzard is holding a 30th-anniversary event across beloved titles like World of Warcraft, Hearthstone, and Warcraft Rumble. A highlight of the festivities will be the Warcraft 30th Anniversary Direct, which will be broadcast on Twitch, YouTube, and TikTok.

Mark your calendars for November 13th, 6 pm (GMT), as this event promises to unveil future developments for the franchise. In the meantime, players can dive into the World of Warcraft 20th Anniversary Celebration, allowing users to get new transmogs, cosmetics, and mounts and enjoy time-travelling events honouring the game's past. Hearthstone and Warcraft Rumble players can also look forward to special in-game events. Battle.net account holders who tune into the live direct may be eligible for exclusive rewards (yet to be revealed).

The Warcraft 30th Anniversary Direct will feature a WoW 20th Anniversary concert right after the main event, celebrating two decades of music from the game. Helvepic was at the helm of the production for this live concert, which was filmed in Switzerland. The concert will be played by the 21st Century Orchestra accompanied by three choirs: Tales of Fantasy, Ardito, and the Madrijazz Gospel.

While the specifics of the Direct remain under wraps, attendees can speculate on potential announcements related to future World of Warcraft, which could include new raids, dungeons, and perhaps even expansions. Fans can also expect new content for Warcraft Rumble and Hearthstone, and who knows, maybe an announcement of a new game set in the Warcraft universe.

KitGuru Games: Predicting the Next Half a Decade of Call of Duty Releases

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. Sure enough, the US founding father has yet to be proven wrong, with Activision and a dozen studios having ensured that come the tail-end of any given year, there will be a new COD ready to release. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
