Hogwarts Legacy Definitive Edition to include major story expansion

WB Games has found itself in a bit of a financial hole this year after Rocksteady's Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League failed to attract on-going sales. The publisher hopes to bounce back with a Definitive Edition release for Hogwarts Legacy, packing hours of additional content.

According to Insider Gaming, Hogwarts Legacy: Definitive Edition is in development, with plans for the expansion to contain up to 15 hours of additional content. This will include new story quests and side quests, as well as more challenge activities and outfits to collect.

The Definitive Edition DLC will be made available as a separate purchase for those who already own the base game. However, newcomers will be able to buy the Hogwarts Legacy Definitive Edition package in one bundle. This new version of the game is expected to land in 2025, but it is unclear if all the new content will also come to Nintendo Switch, Xbox One and PS4, or if it will be limited to PC and current-gen consoles.

It has also been claimed that Hogwarts Legacy 2 is on the way, but a full sequel is going to be years away, so a greatly expanded version of the first game should help smooth over that gap.

KitGuru Games: Predicting the Next Half a Decade of Call of Duty Releases

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. Sure enough, the US founding father has yet to be proven wrong, with Activision and a dozen studios having ensured that come the tail-end of any given year, there will be a new COD ready to release. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
