First-Person rhythm shooter ‘ROBOBEAT’ and ‘Citizen Sleeper’ will be free on the Epic Games Store

Each week, the Epic Games Store gives away a title to two for free to all those with an Epic Games account. With this week’s free titles now available to claim, next week’s offerings have now been officially revealed – with the first-person rhythm shooter ROBOBEAT and the excellent narrative-focused RPG Citizen Sleeper being given away from the 18th of June.

Available to add to your library from now until the 18th of June, all those with an EGS account can claim the chess rogue-lite ‘The Ouroboros King’ alongside the “adrenaline-fueled” combat racer Warhammer 40K: Speed Freeks. Next Thursday however will see two more titles being given away: Citizen Sleeper and ROBOBEAT.

Citizen Sleeper is an excellent dice-based narrative-focused RPG featuring striking visuals and a hauntingly beautiful soundtrack. Released back in 2022, the game went on to be nominated for a number of awards, including RPG of the Year (at the DICE Awards) and Game of the Year at the Game Developers Choice Awards.

ROBOBEAT meanwhile is a first-person ‘rhythm shooter’ in which you play as “Ace – a bounty hunter on a mission to capture robot-gone-rogue Frazzer”. Featuring fast-paced gameplay, satisfying movement mechanics and rogue-lite elements, ROBOBEAT is a strong addition to the increasingly growing rhythm-shooter genre.

Both Citizen Sleeper and ROBOBEAT will be free to claim from the 18th of June. In the meantime, don’t forget to claim this week’s offerings.
