PlayStation Plus adds Modern Warfare 3, For the King 2 and CrossCode

Sony has announced the PlayStation Plus monthly games for July, offering a mix of blockbuster action, strategy and indie RPG combat. Starting on July 7th, subscribers will be able to claim Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III, For the King II and CrossCode. All three titles will be available to download and keep for as long as users maintain an active PS+ subscription.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III (PS4, PS5) joins the PlayStation Plus line-up this week, just a few months ahead of the launch of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4. If you need to catch up on the story so far before the new campaign drops, then you should grab the game while its free.

For the King II (PS5) is the sequel to IronOak Games’ tabletop‑inspired RPG. Blending turn‑based combat, roguelike progression and co‑op play, the game expands on the original with larger maps, new classes and more complex party‑building. It’s designed for both solo adventurers and groups looking for a challenging strategy experience.

CrossCode (PS4) is an acclaimed 2D action‑RPG that blends fast combat with puzzle‑driven dungeons and a story inspired by classic SNES‑era titles. The game has earned praise for its tight mechanics, lengthy campaign and retro‑styled presentation, making it a strong pick for fans of old‑school RPG design.

All three games will be available to claim starting on July 7th.
