Housemarque celebrates Returnal’s 3rd anniversary with new announcements

3 years ago, Returnal released on PS5 – a fast-paced action-heavy arcadey and mysterious 3rd person rogue-lite shooter. Since then, Housemarque have updated the game with a ton of new features, content and even a co-op multiplayer option. Celebrating the game’s 3rd anniversary, the team have announced a bunch of cool new goodies for fans – including an animated graphic novel.

Making the announcement on Twitter, the team at Housemarque said:

“Another year, another cycle. The Third time around, extra loot is exposed with Dark Horse flair.

-Returnal: Fallen Asteria, Graphic Novel

-Returnal Artbook

-Fallen Asteria, Animated Adaptation”

As mentioned in the tweet, the graphic novel and artbook have been made in collaboration with Dark Horse Comics – who have worked with PlayStation many times in the past.

While the graphic novel and artbook will be available to purchase in October, the animated adaptation of Fallen Asteria’’s first issue can be watched right now on YouTube for free; narrated of course by Selene herself ‘Jane Perry’.
