Half a dozen games are leaving PS Plus next month

Sony has been steadily growing its PlayStation Plus Extra/Premium service ever since its revamp a couple years ago. As with most subscription game services however, titles only stick around for a limited time. Sony has now announced which games will be leaving next month.

In going to the PlayStation Plus section on your PS5, you’ll find a list of 6 titles under the ‘Last Chance to Play’ section. Leaving the service on the 16th of July are the following:

  • Tiny-Tina's Wonderlands (PS5, PS4)
  • Dysmantle (PS5, PS4)
  • My Little Pony: A Maretime Bay Adventure (PS5, PS4)
  • Fast & Furious: Spy Racers Rise of Sh1ft3r (PS5, PS4)
  • Kingdom Two Crowns (PS4)
  • Saints Row IV: Re-Elected (PS4)

Though certainly not the worst month in terms of game departures, Borderlands fans in particular will want to give Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands a try if they have not done so yet.

Fortunately, Sony appears to be making up for the losses, as more than a dozen games have now been added to the service, including Monster Hunter: Rise. The full list of new additions can be found HERE.

Insider claims Call of Duty could see a massive shake-up including no more annual releases

For pretty much its entire existence, Call of Duty has operated using a familiar model, with the FPS franchise seeing a brand new title released on an annual basis from one of the 3 core COD studios. While this has worked in the past, Black Ops 7 seems to have been a breaking point for some. According to known insiders, Microsoft is now considering a major shake-up, including a standalone Zombies game.
