Warhammer 40,000: Darktide looks to finally be coming to PS5

With Warhammer 40k Space Marine 2 launching to near immediate success, it seems as though Game Workshop is trying to capitalise on this as much as possible. Nearly two years on from its initial release, Warhammer 40k: Darktide appears set to finally come to PS5.

As reported by Gematsu, the Taiwanese Games Rating Board has listed a PlayStation 5 version of Warhammer 40,000: Darktide, suggesting that the game could finally be making its way onto Sony’s systems.

For the uninitiated, Darktide first released on PC in November 2022, eventually coming to Xbox Series X|S just under a year later in October 2023.

Its lack of a PlayStation release was interesting as it marks one of the few multi-platform Warhammer games to come to Xbox but skip PlayStation. That said, the game did suffer from some development and early launch issues, leading the Xbox release to arrive far later than initially intended.

As such, the possible silver lining in all this is that PlayStation players will hopefully get a polished and fully-fledged version of Darktide when it is eventually released for PS5.

KitGuru Games: Predicting the Next Half a Decade of Call of Duty Releases

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. Sure enough, the US founding father has yet to be proven wrong, with Activision and a dozen studios having ensured that come the tail-end of any given year, there will be a new COD ready to release. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
