Test Drive Unlimited: Solar Crown PC system requirements announced

Nacon and KT Racing have recently unveiled the official PC system requirements for Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown, slated for release on September 12th. Overall, the game looks relatively accessible for modern hardware, but a closer look at the notes might create some doubt regarding how well the game will run.

According to the developers, the minimum system requirements call for an Intel Core i7-7700K/AMD Ryzen 7 1800X CPU and 12GB of RAM. Additionally, players will need an Nvidia GTX 1660/AMD Radeon RX 480/Intel Arc A380 to achieve playable performance at 1080p with Low settings, but unlike what we're used to seeing, it's not native 1080p. Instead, the developer states that these specs are so the game can run at 1080p with the FSR 2 Ultra Performance preset enabled.

For a better experience, the developer recommends an Intel Core i7-11700K/AMD Ryzen 7 3700X CPU, 16GB of RAM, and an Nvidia GeForce RTX 2080/AMD Radeon RX 6650. This configuration lets you play it at 1080p/Medium, offering a stable 60 fps using DLSS/FSR 2 Balanced. You can see additional details on the system requirements below:

Recently, the developer stated that the final game will have better graphics, lighting, physics, and sense of speed than its demo. This could be good, as the game will look better. However, it also might make the game more demanding on your hardware, which could justify the system requirements.
