Dead Cells gets long-awaited ‘The End is Near’ update

This 35th update is not just a farewell; it's a treasure trove of new content for the players. It introduces a trio of new mobs, fresh mutations, and weapons that promise to revitalize the gameplay experience. Players can discover new legendary aspects for their gear, choose between 40 new heads as part of character customisation, and challenge themselves through the new ‘Cursed Biomes' mechanic.

The release of this update is bittersweet, as it also signifies a parting of ways for the studios behind Dead Cells. Motion Twin and Evil Empire have expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the community for its support over the past five years. Moving forward, both studios will be focusing on new projects, with Evil Empire developing ‘The Rogue: Prince of Persia' and Motion Twin working on a new roguelite titled ‘Windblown',

And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
