THQ Nordic announces 2024 Digital Showcase

As they have done for a couple years now, publisher THQ Nordic is hosting its own online video game showcase. Set to go live on the 2nd of August, 2024’s THQ Nordic Digital Showcase will feature “new announcements, exciting updates on Gothic 1 Remake, Titan Quest II and much more.”

Making the announcement on Twitter, the team at THQ Nordic said “The same procedure as last year? Our annual THQ Nordic Digital Showcase returns on August 2, 2024! Join us for new announcements, exciting updates on Gothic 1 Remake, Titan Quest II and much more.”

No estimated length was given for the showcase, though considering how far out it is, THQ themselves are unlikely to have that nailed down just yet. That said, we do have a time for when the showcase will go live – 8pm UK Time (BST) or your regional equivalent.

THQ Nordic is a surprisingly massive company, with the publisher revealing back during last year’s showcase that they had 20 unannounced games in the works.

While we already know to expect the Gothic Remake and Titan Quest II, it’ll be interesting to see what else they plan to reveal.

Insider claims Call of Duty could see a massive shake-up including no more annual releases

For pretty much its entire existence, Call of Duty has operated using a familiar model, with the FPS franchise seeing a brand new title released on an annual basis from one of the 3 core COD studios. While this has worked in the past, Black Ops 7 seems to have been a breaking point for some. According to known insiders, Microsoft is now considering a major shake-up, including a standalone Zombies game.
