SIFU hits new sales milestone

SIFU caught many people’s attention when it was first released back in February of 2022. The martial arts title was a follow-up to developer Sloclap’s well-received 2017 game Absolver. Two years on from SIFU’s successful launch, the game has sold an impressive 3 million copies.

Making the announcement via a press release, SIFU developer Sloclap celebrated the game’s 2nd birthday with the surprise release of two new outfits, saying:

“As a token of our appreciation for your support and dedication, we're happy to announce the addition of two new, free outfits; one to make you a fully fledged Absolver and one that adds a dash of street flair to your brawls!”

That is not all however, as the team also revealed that SIFU has now officially sold over 3 million copies.

For context, the game managed to hit 1 million copies within its first month – then going on to sell an additional million by March of last year. To see the game continue to consistently sell like this is a testament to its quality.

With the final content update for the game coming out late last year, it will be interesting to see what the team at Sloclap have planned next. Regardless, there will be plenty of eager fans waiting to find out.
