GTA VI trailer officially surpasses 200 million views

With over 200 million copies sold in the past decade, Grand Theft Auto V is not only easily one of the best selling games of all time, but has cemented its successor ‘GTA VI’ as perhaps the most anticipated game ever. With quite a while to go until the game’s release fans have been eating up as much GTA VI content as possible – with the first trailer now surpassing 200 million views.

7 months after the initial release of the first GTA VI trailer, the preview for Rockstar’s much-anticipated upcoming open-world sandbox behemoth has amassed a staggering 200 million views – almost double that of GTA V’s trailer more than 12 years ago.

Additionally, this single trailer has been viewed more times than every Red Dead Redemption / RDR2 trailer combined. Of course, this is just the total views on Rockstar’s official YouTube channel.

With millions more views attributed to re-uploads as well as Facebook/Twitter/Instagram/TikTok posts, it's very possible that GTA VI could have the most viewed trailer ever by the time the game is released.

KitGuru Games: Predicting the Next Half a Decade of Call of Duty Releases

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. Sure enough, the US founding father has yet to be proven wrong, with Activision and a dozen studios having ensured that come the tail-end of any given year, there will be a new COD ready to release. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
