A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead lands on PC, Xbox Series X/S and PS5 this year

Saber Interactive has a surprise new game coming out. A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead is a new horror game set in the same universe as the Quiet Place films. Naturally, it will be a narrative-driven horror game, telling an original story separate from the movies.

Saber Interactive is publishing the title but the development studio responsible for making the game is Stormind Games. The game will put players in the shoes of “a young woman struggling to endure not only the nightmarish creatures of the apocalypse but also the anguish of family conflicts”. If you've watched either of the Quiet Place films, you'll get a feel for the themes being tackled here.

Players will have access to simple tools to scavenge and survive in a world where super-hearing monsters roam the earth and humans have been driven into silence as a means of survival.

A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead is releasing later this year for PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X/S.

KitGuru Says: Did you watch the Quiet Place films? Will you be playing the game when it drops later this year?

KitGuru Games: Predicting the Next Half a Decade of Call of Duty Releases

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. Sure enough, the US founding father has yet to be proven wrong, with Activision and a dozen studios having ensured that come the tail-end of any given year, there will be a new COD ready to release. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
