GeForce Now adds 90FPS streaming for VR, Crimson Desert and more

This week's GeForce Now update brings just a handful of titles, three of which are brand-new releases. However, it also brings a major upgrade for VR gamers, with 90FPS streaming now available on supported virtual reality headsets.

Moving forward, those streaming games to VR devices like the Apple Vision Pro, Meta Quest or Pico can get up to 90FPS gameplay as part of the GeForce Now Ultimate service. Most VR headsets already have a 90Hz to 120Hz display included, so the bump up to 90FPS streaming means VR users will benefit more from the speed of their headset display.

On top of that, Crimson Desert launches this week as a day-one title for GeForce Now, and it will be immediately available on the RTX 5080-powered servers, so you can get the best possible performance.

The full list of games joining GeForce Now this week includes:

  • Everwind (New release on Steam, March 17, GeForce RTX 5080-ready)
  • Retro Rewind – Video Store Simulator (New release on Steam, March 17)
  • Crimson Desert (New release on Steam, March 19, GeForce RTX 5080-ready)
  • Fallout 3 (Steam)

KitGuru Games: Predicting the Next Half a Decade of Call of Duty Releases

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. Sure enough, the US founding father has yet to be proven wrong, with Activision and a dozen studios having ensured that come the tail-end of any given year, there will be a new COD ready to release. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
