Star Wars Outlaws’ season pass will include Jabba the Hutt mission

Star Wars Outlaws got a brand new story trailer and release date just last week. Alongside this, pre-orders for the game also went live, along with the first details about the game's planned season pass. If you were hoping to bump into Jabba the Hutt during Outlaws, then you best be willing to pay up for some extra DLC.

As Star Wars Outlaws takes place between the events of The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi, there is a prime list of nostalgic Star Wars characters that Ubisoft can pull from. In the case of Outlaws, we'll be getting Jabba the Hutt, but the in-game mission involving the character is unfortunately locked behind the season pass, so you'll need to purchase the additional DLC in order to access it.

Currently, Star Wars Outlaws is being sold in three editions. The standard edition, priced at £70, includes the base game. From there, you can jump up to the Gold Edition for £89.99, which does include the season pass. The £119.99 Ultimate Edition includes the base game, the season pass, and digital extras like in-game items and a digital soundtrack.

Star Wars Outlaws is due to launch on the 27th of August for PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X/S.

KitGuru Says: Chances are, this mission won't be anything that worthwhile, although there have been odd occasions in the past where a genuinely good mission has been locked behind a wall.

KitGuru Games: Predicting the Next Half a Decade of Call of Duty Releases

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. Sure enough, the US founding father has yet to be proven wrong, with Activision and a dozen studios having ensured that come the tail-end of any given year, there will be a new COD ready to release. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
