Helldivers 2 hotfix will address new crashing issues

If you've been joining the fight against the Automatons in recent weeks, then you may have run into various crashing issues. A recent Helldivers 2 patch, which fixed crashes when players use Arc weapons, introduced a new random crash issue. Fortunately, a fix is on the way.

In an update on the game's very active Discord server, community manager, Twinbeard, acknowledged the crashing issues, confirming that a hotfix is on the way to address this, particularly focusing on crashes that occur during extraction or towards the end of a mission.

There is no exact timeframe for this hotfix but it is expected to drop before the new Warbond, which becomes available to players this Thursday. The new warbond focuses more on explosive weapons, giving players an unlock path to a grenade-launching pistol, an explosive crossbow and other gear.

There will be a lot of eyes on Helldivers 2 this week, as last week's major order saw the player base at large wiping out the Automaton threat. Now, we're all eagerly awaiting new orders as the war continues.

KitGuru Says: Helldivers 2 crashes have been occurring for me more regularly over the past couple of weeks compared to when I was playing around launch. It is always unfortunate to be booted from the game in the middle of an intense battle, or worse, during the extraction period, which can cost the whole squad requisition points if someone doesn't make it back into the game in time. Hopefully this hotfix can bring stability back to the game for those who are affected.

KitGuru Games: Predicting the Next Half a Decade of Call of Duty Releases

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. Sure enough, the US founding father has yet to be proven wrong, with Activision and a dozen studios having ensured that come the tail-end of any given year, there will be a new COD ready to release. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
