Helldivers 2 Democratic Detonation Warbond promises explosive new weapons

Helldivers 2 has continued to do very well in the weeks following launch and the team at Arrowhead has been swiftly delivering on new content updates, with weekly operations pushing the campaign forward and introducing new threats. The next Warbond has now been announced for the game, bringing a new set of unique weapons to try out.

The next Premium Warbond, Democratic Detonation, arrives on the 11th of April. There will be three key new weapons introduced as part of the Warbond, including a new armour-penetrating rifle, a bolt-action weapon that fires jet-assisted shells, and a new exploding crossbow.

New light, medium and heavy armour sets will also arrive, but specific stat buffs have not been announced. More interesting is the upcoming set of secondary weapons, including a new thermite grenade and a grenade shooting pistol, alongside a new Pilot booster that allows for faster extractions.

As always, the Warbond will be available permanently, and you can use your earned warbond medals from completing missions to quickly unlock new gear and weapons from it.

KitGuru Games: Predicting the Next Half a Decade of Call of Duty Releases

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. Sure enough, the US founding father has yet to be proven wrong, with Activision and a dozen studios having ensured that come the tail-end of any given year, there will be a new COD ready to release. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
