Nearly a dozen games are leaving PS Plus next month

As they do every month, Sony is set to remove a handful of titles from its PlayStation Plus Extra game subscription service in April. Fortunately, the console maker offers plenty of heads-up, with subscribers having a solid three weeks to give these titles a whirl.

Updating its ‘Last Chance to Play’ section on PS Plus, 11 titles are set to leave the service on the 16th of April 2024, those being:

  • Ghostbusters: The Video Game Remastered (PS4)
  • Bassmaster Fishing 2022 (PS5, PS4)
  • Necromunda: Underhive Wars (PS4)
  • Chicken Police – Paint It RED (PS4)
  • Soul Calibur VI (PS4)
  • Fighting EX Layer (PS4)
  • R-Type Final 2 (PS4)
  • Gunvolt Chronicles Luminous Avenger IX (PS4)
  • Reel Fishing: Road Trip Adventure (PS4)
  • Everspace (PS4)
  • Dangerous Golf (PS4)

While some subscribers will undoubtedly be sad to see a number of these games go away, none of the titles are particularly massive experiences, and so there is plenty of time to make peace with these departing games.

KitGuru Games: Predicting the Next Half a Decade of Call of Duty Releases

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. Sure enough, the US founding father has yet to be proven wrong, with Activision and a dozen studios having ensured that come the tail-end of any given year, there will be a new COD ready to release. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
