Summer Game Fest returns in June

With E3 now officially cancelled for good, all eyes will be on Summer Game Fest this year. The event returns this June, promising new game announcements, first-looks and trailers.

Geoff Keighley, producer of the show, announced that the event's big steam will take place on the 7th of June at the YouTube Theatre in LA. The stream will be broadcast across both Twitch and YouTube and public tickets will also be available for those who would like to attend in person – just don't rush the stage, give Keighley a break.

The main stream on June 7th is where you'll want to tune in to see all of the new game announcements. Keighley has a decent amount of industry pull, so we can expect some good surprises, alongside trailers for new updates to on-going games.

As the livestream is taking place in the afternoon on the US West Coast, those of us in the UK will be watching it in the late evening, starting at 10PM.

KitGuru Says: Will you be tuning into this year's Summer Game Fest stream? Are there any games you are hoping to see announced? I'll have my fingers crossed for a new trailer for Dragon Age, and perhaps a new look at Diablo 4's upcoming expansion.

KitGuru Games: Predicting the Next Half a Decade of Call of Duty Releases

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. Sure enough, the US founding father has yet to be proven wrong, with Activision and a dozen studios having ensured that come the tail-end of any given year, there will be a new COD ready to release. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
