Horizon Forbidden West PC system requirements announced

Horizon Forbidden West is the next PlayStation game to make the transition to PC. The sequel to Horizon: Zero Dawn, offers up an even larger open world, a range of visual and gameplay upgrades, as well as a new campaign for players to dig through. On PC, we'll be getting the Complete Edition of the game, which includes the Burning Shores expansion pack.

While horizon Forbidden West was announced for PC a few months ago, we are now just weeks away from launch. As a result, Sony has announced the official release date – March 21st, as well as the PC system requirements.

In the table below you can see the full PC system requirements for the game, targeting 720p, 1080p, 1440p and 4K resolutions:

If you prefer to tweak settings and visuals to your own liking, you’ll find plenty of options in the launcher and in the game menus. Next to individual quality settings for textures, level of detail, shadows, water, terrain and more, you can use sliders to adjust the field of view and visual effects like motion blur and film grain. You’ll also find toggles to adjust full screen effects like radial blur, lens flares, bloom and vignette to taste.

KitGuru Says: Hopefully this PC release comes through in a better state compared to last year's release of The Last of Us Part 1 for PC. We only have a few weeks left to wait for benchmarks and performance reviews.
