Star Wars strategy game still on the way following layoffs at EA studios

EA announced a wave of layoffs and game cancellations last week. Respawn Entertainment was one of the studios impacted, with its first-person Star Wars shooter scrapped. With EA seemingly wanting to ditch licensed games once again, questions have arose about several other projects within EA, including an upcoming Star Wars strategy game.

By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
