Helldivers II to get WWI themed ‘Entrenched Division’ Warbond next week

Arrowhead Game Studios have been keeping Helldivers II feeling fresh thanks to semi-regular in-game updates and events alongside a consistent cadence of Warbond releases. With regards to the latter, the team have now unveiled their WWI themed ‘Entrenched Division’ Premium Warbond – introducing new takes on classic weaponry, the ‘entrenchment tool’ shovel and more.

Available to purchase for the standard price of 1000 Super Credits (the resources for which can of course be obtained for free through gameplay), the Entrenched Division Warbond is officially arriving on the 17th of March.

As mentioned, this release is themed around WWI; with weapons, items and more inspired by the trench warfare of 100 years ago.

Like always, the Warbond features a mixture of weapons; strategems; cosmetics and more, including:

  • B/FLAM-80 Cremator Flamethrower (strategem)
  • A/GM-17 Gas Mortar Sentry (strategem)
  • SMG/FLAM-34 Stoker (submachine gun)
  • P-69 Veto (pistol)
  • CQC-73 Entrenchment Tool (shovel)
  • G-48 Giga Grenade (throwable)
  • CPG-48 Sapper (medium armour)
  • CPH-26 Commandant (light armour)

While Arrowhead need to make sure to maintain a balance between all of Helldivers’ continuously added content, it is exciting to see new weapons; armours; stratagems and other potentially game-changing features being added on a consistent basis.

KitGuru Games: Predicting the Next Half a Decade of Call of Duty Releases

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. Sure enough, the US founding father has yet to be proven wrong, with Activision and a dozen studios having ensured that come the tail-end of any given year, there will be a new COD ready to release. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
