Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons Remake gets DLSS, Tarkov: Arena launches with Nvidia Reflex

Charming indie co-op game, Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons is getting a remake, upgrading the visuals with Unreal Engine 5. On PC, GeForce graphics card users will benefit from additional features, like DLSS. New Nvidia Reflex titles are also on the way this week.

Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons Remake and Myth of Empires are launching this week, both supporting DLSS 2, promising to boost frame rates by over 2X on RTX 40 series graphics cards. In the realm of competitive gaming, Tarkov: Arena emerges with added support for Nvidia Reflex. This integration aims to curtail system latency by a notable 36 percent, offering players a distinct advantage during intense gaming sessions.

Other Nvidia Reflex titles are also getting updates this week. Apex Legends for instance is entering its 20th season, and Reflex reduces latency in the title by up to 37 percent. Call of Duty: Warzone is another notable example, with season 2 now launching and Reflex reducing latency by up to 28 percent. Overwatch 2 sees the biggest benefit from Reflex, with a 60 percent improvement in latency and responsiveness.

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
