Dying Light 2 getting “biggest update yet” with new guns and graphics

As with the first game, the developers at Techland have been adding a whole bunch of new stuff to Dying Light 2, from small changes and refinements, to entirely new gameplay styles. The team seem to have no plans of stopping any time soon, as they have just announced Dying Light 2’s biggest update yet.

Set to arrive on the 22nd of February (alongside a Reloaded Edition re-release which will include all updates and the Bloody Ties DLC), Dying Light 2’s Firearms Update serves as a fundamental shift for the game.

Having focused primarily on melee combat until now, this upcoming update will add multiple firearm categories including shotguns, rifles and SMGs – though more are likely included. As with most aspects of the game, the team at Techland will refine the gunplay over time based on player feedback.

That’s far from the extent of the update however, as the team have promised new content for solo and co-op players; as well as some “surprises” for fans of the first entry in the series.

Despite being two years old, Dying Light 2 will look better than ever, with visual enhancements said to be coming to vegetation, skyboxes, and the zombies themselves.

With all of the major updates released over the years, Dying Light 2 is truly evolving in many ways – taking what was already a solid game and giving it an entirely breath of new life.

KitGuru Games: Predicting the Next Half a Decade of Call of Duty Releases

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. Sure enough, the US founding father has yet to be proven wrong, with Activision and a dozen studios having ensured that come the tail-end of any given year, there will be a new COD ready to release. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
