Kojima unveils massive 10-minute trailer for Death Stranding 2

Last night during Sony's State of Play stream, we finally got our next look at Death Stranding 2, just as rumoured. Kojima's big sequel won't be arriving until 2025, but in the meantime, there is a new gameplay trailer and the game now has an official title.

Death Stranding 2: On The Beach doesn't have a final release date yet, but it is scheduled to come out next year. While we still have quite the wait ahead, there is a lengthy new trailer, spanning 10 minutes of what appears to be in-game footage, so the team is certainly making good progress.

Aside from catching up with some old characters, like Sam Porter Bridges, once again played by Norman Reedus, we also get a look at some new characters, including the new character played by actress Elle Fanning, who was teased as a newcomer to the Death Stranding sequel in a short video shared by Kojima last year.

Given how lengthy this trailer was, I'd be willing to bet that this will be a first-half of 2025 title rather than a late 2025 one, but we'll have to wait and see. Kojima Productions is very busy at the moment, juggling multiple game projects and cross media efforts.

KitGuru Games: Predicting the Next Half a Decade of Call of Duty Releases

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. Sure enough, the US founding father has yet to be proven wrong, with Activision and a dozen studios having ensured that come the tail-end of any given year, there will be a new COD ready to release. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
