Rainbow Six Extraction PC system requirements revealed for 1080p, 1440p and 4K

After years of delays, closed alpha/beta testing and plenty of leaks, Rainbow Six Extraction is finally coming out. With the game just a few weeks away, Ubisoft has now revealed the PC system requirements, with specs for 1080p, 1440p and 4K gameplay.

Rainbow Six Extraction is a spin-off from Rainbow Six Siege, borrowing some of the operators from the game and putting players in a PvE setting rather than PvP. Players will run around maps looking to wipe out a parasite infestation.

To run the game at 1080p with low graphics settings, you'll need at least an Intel Core i5-4460 or AMD Ryzen 3 1200 CPU, 8GB of RAM and an Nvidia GeForce GTX 960 or AMD Radeon RX 560 graphics card. If you want to jump up to 1080p at high settings, you'll want to make sure you have at least an Intel Core i7-4790 or AMD Ryzen 5 1600 processor, 16GB of RAM and a GTX 1660 or RX 580 graphics card.

Both the 1440p and 4K specs target high graphical settings. For 1440p, you'll want to have an Intel Core i5-8400 or AMD Ryzen 5 2600X processor, 16GB of RAM and an RTX 2060 or RX 5600 XT graphics card. For 4K, you'll want a much more high-end system, with an Intel Core i9-9900K or AMD Ryzen 7 3700X CPU, 16GB of RAM and an RTX 3080 or RX 6800 XT graphics card.

Those 4K settings seem a tad high compared to the 1440p setting, so you might be able to get away with a lesser GPU, but we won't know for sure until we can get our hands on the game for testing. In terms of PC specific features, players can expect to find a full suite of graphics options, support for DLSS and Nvidia Reflex technologies, and a built-in benchmarking tool to test frame rates before jumping into the main game.

KitGuru Says: Are any of you planning to jump onto Rainbow Six Extraction when it comes out, or will you be sticking to Rainbow Six Siege?
