DS2’s official name reportedly ‘Death Stranding 2 – On The Beach’

During the 2022 Game Awards, Hideo Kojima officially announced DS2 – the unexpected though highly welcome sequel to 2019’s unique open world delivery simulator. Of course, DS2 will not be the game’s final name, and while we have yet to get an official title, a new report has claimed that the much-anticipated sequel will be called Death Stranding 2 – On The Beach.

As reported by the French publication Dealabs, ahead of an expected trailer which is claimed to be arriving within the next two weeks, the official title for DS2 has leaked.

Said to be called ‘Death Stranding 2 – On The Beach’, those who have played the first game will know the importance of this title – and for those who do not, we will refrain from spoiling its meaning.

With Death Stranding Director’s Cut coming to Apple devices next week and a trailer for DS2 said to be arriving shortly, 2024 looks set to be a big year for fans of Death Stranding and Hideo Kojima. Hopefully a new trailer is indeed on its way soon.
